How it works

Online in about five minutes

No technician, no trenching, no contract. If you can plug in a lamp and set a dish where it sees the sky, you can run Skybeam.

1

Send us your dates

Tell us when you need it and where you'll be. We'll check what's open and get back to you, usually the same day.

2

Pick it up or get it dropped off

Grab your kit in Bend, or add delivery and we'll bring it out to your site.

3

Set it down and turn it on

Put the dish somewhere with a clear view of the sky and power it up. It finds the signal on its own.

4

Get your devices online

Join the Skybeam network with the password on the card. Phones, laptops, TVs, cameras, whatever you brought.

5

Bring it back when you're done

Drop it off or book a pickup. Packing it up takes a couple of minutes.

A few tips

Getting the best signal

  • Place the dish where it can see the most open sky — away from tall trees, rigs, and canyon walls.
  • Higher is better. The tripod or roof mount helps clear obstructions.
  • Give it 2–3 minutes on first boot to download the latest firmware and align.
  • Keep the router indoors or under cover; the dish is built for the weather.
  • Running off-grid? Top up the battery with the solar panel during the day.
