Last updated July 19, 2026.
This page is a starting template. Please review it with a qualified attorney before relying on it for your business.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your rental and use of equipment and services provided by Skybeam Portable Internet ("Skybeam", "we", "us"). By reserving or using a Skybeam kit, you agree to these Terms.
2. Rentals & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate contact and payment information. Rentals are for the dates and location you specify. Equipment remains the property of Skybeam at all times.
3. Payment & deposits
Rental fees are due before your start date. A refundable damage deposit is collected at pickup or delivery and returned after the equipment is returned in good condition, less any charges for loss or damage described below.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before your start date. Cancellations within 48 hours are credited toward a future rental. We may cancel and fully refund a rental due to safety, weather, or equipment availability.
5. Care of equipment
You agree to use the equipment responsibly, follow the included setup and safety guidance, and keep it protected from theft, misuse, and preventable damage. You are responsible for the equipment from pickup/delivery until it is returned or collected.
6. Loss & damage
You are responsible for the reasonable cost to repair or replace equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear during your rental. We will itemize any charges and apply the deposit first.
7. Service & speeds
Internet is delivered over a third-party satellite network. Speeds and availability depend on your view of the sky, weather, network congestion, and factors outside our control. We do not guarantee specific speeds or uninterrupted service.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, or in violation of the underlying network provider's acceptable-use policy. We may suspend service for violations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skybeam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the equipment or service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
10. Not for emergencies
Skybeam is not a substitute for emergency communication services. Do not rely on it as your sole means of contacting emergency services.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your rental applies.
